“I am happy to state that most of us here are veterans in the conduct of government businesses and are conversant with the burden of executing public trust for socio-economic development.

“It then becomes imperative for members of the state executive council to be on the same page, with the same level of operational zeal and passion for us to achieve our set goals, improve the lives of our people and relieve ourselves from the burden of the people’s trust at the end of our tenure.

“We should be more innovative and adaptive to modern ideas for effectiveness and efficiency in the discharge of our individual and collective responsibilities,” he admonished.

The governor said his administration intends to foster inter-ministerial coordination and collaboration in implementing the 11-point agenda set by his administration.

Governor Buni the agenda had been developed to guide the implementation of policies and programmes that would propel the development of the state and the country at large.

He also said his administration has constructed 2,600 housing units and offered for sale on owner-occupier basis to civil servants and other members of the public in the state with a 50% discount.
