The Director General (DG) of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Mallam Abubakar Fikpo, has appealed to beneficiaries not to vanish after collecting NDE loans in Borno State.
Fikpo, who made the appeal on Wednesday while disbursing a N2.2m loan to 22 beneficiaries for agribusiness in Maiduguri, said the directorate had a recovery mechanism to ensure repayment.

The DG, represented by the Borno State Coordinator, Mohammed Mukhtar, warned beneficiaries against giving bribe to people claiming to have helped them secure the loans.
He said, “On repayment day, nobody would remove a dime for you because we selected you through a transparent process. Nobody needs anything from you, so you must pay back the amount in full.”
