The Election Petition Tribunal in Bauchi state has received petitions challenging the electoral victory of the Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Kawuwa Shehu Damina and host of others.
According its secretary, Bello G. Abdullahi, the tribunal had earlier received 26 petitions received another one which raised the number to 27.
The 27th petition was filed Monday challenging the Lere/Bula state constituency seat won by the PDP.
He disclosed that the petitions received by the tribunal were those challenging winners of National Assembly including the Senate and House of Representatives as well as the House of Assembly elections.
Abdullahi however noted that, the tribunal is yet to receive any petition regarding the Governorship election in Bauchi State won by Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of the PDP.

Gara’u Adamu of the PDP is challenging the incumbent Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Kawuwa Shehu Damina on his re-election to represent Darazo Central constituency in the House of Assembly.
