The Organizing Committee for the Daniel Ogechi Akujobi Memorial Foundation (DOAMF) has announced that its 14th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place on March 8, 2025, at the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938, Lagos.
Since its inception, the foundation has remained committed to supporting health and education for underprivileged individuals. Over the years, it has impacted more than 95,000 lives by awarding scholarships to academically gifted but financially disadvantaged students from nursery through tertiary levels.
In addition to its scholarship program, the foundation also organizes annual Children’s Day celebrations, inter-school debates, mentorship initiatives to foster leadership skills and confidence in students, free medical outreaches, donations of welfare materials, the equipping of school libraries and sickbays, and skill acquisition programs.
The Annual Charity Golf Tournament is a primary fundraiser for continuing these impactful programs, ensuring that more lives are touched in education and healthcare. The initiative’s success is made possible through the generous support of corporate and individual sponsors who share the foundation’s passion for making a difference.
The tournament’s Organizing committee, composed of dedicated corporate professionals and avid golfers, is enthusiastic about delivering another exciting edition of the event. They extend their gratitude to all sponsors and partners for their continuous support. The qualifier for the tournament is scheduled for February 8, 2025.
