The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has assured persons living with disabilities of inclusion and equal access to health services, education and employment.

 The governor said this on Friday during the commemoration of this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Benin.

He reassured that his government would continue to implement policies that provided sustainable structures and reforms that guaranteed persons with disabilities a better chance of expression, economic empowerment and self-fulfillment.

He said, “It is imperative to reassure that my administration will sustain programmes and policies to ensure that persons with disabilities realise their fullest potentials, ensuring inclusive and equal access to health services, education, employment opportunities, among others.”
