Governor Seriake Dicksonof Bayelsa Statesays Nigerians want restructuring now and faults claims by President Muhammadu Buhari that those clamouring for it are nursing parochial agenda.
Delivering a public lecture titled; “Restructuring and Search for Productive Nigeria” at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife yesterday, Dickson faulted the stance of the president on restructuring, saying it could threaten Nigeria’s stability and development. He maintained that advocates of restructuring were genuine patriots who are passionately committed to the healthy growth of the country and peaceful co-existence among all Nigerians. According to him, Nigeria cannot be productive with the current structure.
