Devise strategies to end cultism, kidnapping, Ogun gov tells CP

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has called on the Commissioner of Police (CP), Abiodun Alamutu, in the state to come up with new strategies for tackling cultism, kidnapping and other security challenges in the state.

The governor made the call when he received the new CP who paid him a courtesy call in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

He said, “As peaceful as we have been, we still have our peculiarity. The issue of cultism is what we continue to grapple with. Incidents of kidnapping here and there. We also have the issue of farmer/herders clashes, although this has been tackled and it has subsided.
