Despite insecurity, COVID-19, Farm now assures investors

By Grace Adetutu

Farmnow, a farm processing chicken, garri and producing eggs, tomato, among others has assured its investors it remains fully committed to ensuring food security, wealth preservation and adequate returns on investments to sponsors despite challenges in the country.

As insecurity and COVID-19 pandemic affect almost all sectors of the economy, the agricultural sector is adjudged as the most affected.

Farmnow stands as one of the surviving agro-tech firms in the industry with over 28 successfully completed agro ventures.

The firm has reiterated its commitment to fostering tech-driven collaborative solutions that would make agriculture profitable for all stakeholders along the agro-value chains.

The farm, in a statement, said it had fine-tuned its farming projections to suit the current economic situation and absorb future unprecedented changes so as to avoid the biting effects of downtimes.

It also announced the move to restructure its payment schedule over a longer, more feasible and sustainable duration so as to ensure the survival of the business and protect its financial capacity to maintain contractual obligations with its partners and investors across board to span 18–24 months.

This, it explained, is to accommodate the current economic realities and ensure investors get returns on investments.

The company commended their partners and investors for their faith and trust reposed.
