Ex-Manchester United flop Memphis Depay is set to sign for Brazilian side Corinthians, potentially marking an end to his career in Europe.
Depay has been biding his time when it comes to picking his next club this summer.
The 30-year-old departed Spanish side Atletico Madrid as a free agent in June and according to Fabrizio Romano, will now head to Brazil to sign for Corinthians, having already completed a medical in his native Netherlands.
As we have recently seen with Steven Bergwijn, Depay’s move to Brazil may spell the end of his time playing in the Netherlands national team under Ronald Koeman.

The head coach barred the former Ajax man for moving to the Saudi Pro League as he deemed the league uncompetitive.
Depay, who took in a disappointing two-year stint at Manchester United between 2015 and 2017, scored 13 goals in 40 appearances for Atletico Madrid.
He was a regular part of the Netherlands squad, including during their recent Euro 2024 campaign.
Depay is signing a contract with Corinthians until 2026 and will be unveiled in the coming days, likely to a very excited crowd.
The 30-year-old had also been linked with Roma, Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano, but will now embark on the next stage of his career outside of Europe.
