…demolishes 860 structures in Gwarinpa

Meanwhile, barely two weeks after authorities of the FCT Administration marked about 850 illegal structures for demolition on No.16 road in 3rd Avenue, Gwarinpa, the Department of Development Control last week commenced demolition exercise in the area.

Illegal settlers in the area were seen evacuating their property in order not to lose them.

The Director, Department of Development Control, Muktar Galadima, explained that the exercise became imperative to provide alternative access and solve escalating traffic congestion in the area.
