Delta unveils publication to amplify SDGs initiatives

The Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has unveiled the maiden edition of its magazine, DEEVOICE.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Delta State, Diana Eyo-Enoette, said DEEVOICE is not just a magazine, but a platform to amplify the voices and stories behind the impactful initiatives that align with commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals in Delta State.

Enoette said the maiden edition of the magazine features the remarkable story of HRM Olori Atuwatse III and her inspiring role in the ‘Elevate Africa’ journey.

“As a visionary leader poised to revolutionize education in Africa, HRM Olori Atuwatse III embodies the essence of sustainable development,” she said.

She said Atuwatse III’s contribution to the Elevate Africa platform highlights the transformative power of education and the critical importance of nurturing the potential within communities.

“Her journey is a testament to what can be achieved when tradition, innovation, and absolute deep commitment to societal growth come together”, she said.

Enoette said the special edition highlights the journey over the last 180 days, showcasing the tireless efforts, innovative programs, and collaborative spirit driving the state closer to achieving the SDGs.

The SDGs advocate noted that sharing successful stories and progress is crucial for ensuring no one is left behind in localizing the SDGs, as it informs and engages people, involving them in decisions that shape their lives and future.

She further commended the visionary leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State who continues to set the pace in localizing the SDGs to drive development and prosperity.
