Delta to set up oxygen plants in 3 hospitals

The Delta State Government has said it has given approval for the setting up of oxygen plants in the Asaba, Ughelli and Warri general hospitals.

 City & Crime reports that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, who disclosed this in his remarks to celebrate the nation’s 63rd independence anniversary at the Cenotaph in Asaba, also announced that the state had commenced the process of revamping 260 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs).

 The governor noted that free medical care for pregnant women and children aged zero to five was also being sustained.
