The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested a man living with disability, Sunday Alabi, who allegedly killed a farmer, Sikiri, popularly called Badoo.”
The command’s spokesman, DSP Sunday Abutu, who confirmed the arrest of the suspect, said the crime was committed on a farm in the Ipole area in Ayekire LGA.

The deaf and dumb man had allegedly gone to the farm of Sikiri to steal maize and when Sikiri came to confront him, the suspect attacked him with a machete and nearly cut off his head and one arm.
The victim was left in the pool of his blood before some other farmers saw him and reported the matter to the police, by which time he was confirmed dead.
