The visitors took the lead through Bright Onyedikachi in the 82nd minute but two minutes later, Saidu Abdullahi put the hosts level before Stone Onukwube sealed all three points for his side in the 89th minute of the match.

With the dramatic win, the once relegation threatened Jigawa Golden Stars have moved to the 10th position on the log with the hope of breaking into the top five if they win their midweek fixture at Kano Pillars.
Meanwhile, both Rivers United and Enyimba recorded slim victories over Adamawa United and Kastina United to amass 15 points each.
However, Rivers United with superior goal difference of plus six occupy the number one position after their 1-0 win over hard fighting Adamawa United.
Enyimba defeat Katsina United 1-0
In Aba, eight time NPFL champions, Enyimba defeated Katsina United 1-0 through Tosin Omoleye’s lone strike in the 45th minute.
