At least 17 people have been killed and more than 30 wounded in two explosions in the Lebanese capital Beirut, security sources say.
The blasts took place in the suburb of Burj el-Barajneh, a stronghold of the Shia Hezbollah movement.
Local media reported the blasts were caused by two suspected suicide bombers.
The conflict in neighbouring Syria has worsened security and sectarian tensions in Lebanon.
Hezbollah has fought alongside forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Lebanese Sunni Muslims tend to back the Syrian opposition.
