Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, fondly known as Davido, recently met with some Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Europe.
A photo of the singer alongside Governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Samuel Ortom (Benue) and Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) is currently trending online.

In the photo, they were captured having a drink. The exact date of the meeting was not made public, but Daily Trust understands that PDP governors loyal to Wike are currently having a strategy meeting abroad.
Davido’s uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke is the incoming governor of Osun state under PDP.
Adeleke had defeated the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola, in the July poll.
In the keenly contested election, Adeleke polled 403,371 votes to defeat Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 375,027 votes.
Davido played a notable role in Adeleke’s victory in the election.
He was with the governor-elect through thick and thin four years ago when their efforts did not yield the desired result.
After the 2018 loss, Davido went back to the drawing board and again they launched a new campaign.
