ICYMI: Davido Dares Gov Makinde over Osun PDP crisis

Afropop Singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has called out Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State over the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State.

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the musician’s uncle, is one of those seeking the party’s ticket for this year’s governorship election.

However, the process has been controversial, with reports that there are plots to edge out Davido’s uncle from the race.

In a tweet, the musician lleged that thugs had been imported to disrupt governorship primary.

“It has been brought to my attention that certain individuals have imported thugs and their mercenaries to our dear state to intimidate delegates, I will like to reassure Imole supporters and All Adhoc delegates that there is nothing to fear.”

Though he did not mention any name, he alleged that a certain politician he looks up to, was behind the act.

He wrote “it hurts sha … a certain politician that I love with all my heart and look up to so much is the one trynna fuck us up … but with God nothing dey sup ! IMOLE DE!!”

Following his tweets, A Twitter user Babawale, dared him to mention the name of the alleged politician.

The music star responded to the tweets boldly with the name of Oyo Governor, tagging his Twitter handle alongside.

He tweeted “@seyiamakinde.”

Another Twitter user with the handle @Captain_flexy expressed fear that Davido could be arrested for making such allegations against Makinde.

The DMW boss while responding to this, dared anyone to arrest him.

He wrote: “Arrest who? In which Nigeria?? Make dem come carry me for @TheO2 na.”
