The Chairman of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Nasarawa United, Barrister Isaac Danladi, has donated a brand new set of jerseys, balls and cash to Dr. Akabe Football Club of Doma.
While making the donation at the office of Nasarawa United on Tuesday morning, Danladi who doubles as the Chairman of NPFL Clubs Owners Association said the gesture was in fulfilment of the promise he made to the team when they presented him with a merit award as “Icon of grassroots football development” at the office of the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State on November 15, 2022.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Club, Assistant Coach, Abubakar Zuma, who was accompanied by the Club’s captain, Mohammed Isa, appreciated the Chairman for making real his promise, saying the items would further boost the morale of the team, going forward.
He noted that the items further proved the sincerity, honesty, transparency and dedication of the Chairman of Nasarawa United in the area of football development in the State.

Coach Zuma assured the donor that the team would continue to support him and his club to excel in every ramification for the growth and development of football at the grassroots level and in Nasarawa State as whole.
The Coach called on other well-meaning individuals in the state to emulate the philanthropic gesture of Danladi in helping to discover more hidden talents.
