Gombe State Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo has appealed to the entire people of Pindiga Emirate community of Akko Local Government Area of the state to continue to live in peace and embrace one another.

The governor made the appeal at the presentation of staff of office to the new Emir of Pindiga, Alhaji Mohammed Seyoji Ahmed.

The chairman of the publicity committee of the event, Alhaji Moh’d Ahmed Yidikawu, in a statement yesterday, quoted the governor as telling the emirate that people will only take place in a peaceful atmosphere.

The statement read in part: “The new emir whose coronation ceremony was the second after an earlier one held in 2001 but later deposed on May 12, 2004 by former Governor Danjuma Goje and exiled to Tula in Kaltungo Local Government Area of Gombe State.

“The Saturday’s event was, therefore, a culmination of a process following his reinstatement back to the throne on 12th August, 2013 by Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.”
