The nominated are: former commissioners of Cooperative and Community Development, Yusuf Manu Swa, Hassan Muhammadu (Finance), Mohammed Usman Ribadu (Special Duties), Umar Ahmed Sulaiman (Information and Orientation) and Ahmed Abubakar Walama (Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs).

Others are Sa’adatu Sa’ad Mustapha (Environment and Forest Resources), Hassan Ahmadu Haruna (Rural Development) and James Sammy Barka (Animal Husbandry and Nomadic Affairs).

In another development, Governor Dankwambo has sent a bill to establish the Gombe State and Local Government Contributory Pension Scheme and other related matters.
