Dankwambo has nothing to do in APC – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Gombe State, has condemned rumours making the rounds that Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo may decamp to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Alhaji Buba Shanu, the state secretary of party, stated this, yesterday, in Gombe.
He described the rumour as untrue, unfounded and a mischief from political opponents, adding: “Even when you weigh the rumour, it has no basis because Dankwambo is not looking for platform to contest for any political office.
“He has already contested and won Gombe State governorship election under the platform of the PDP and is now working hard for the electorates. If he goes to the APC, what is he going to do? You can’t match APC with PDP. In fact, I don’t see APC as a strong Party, I only see the APC as a party of losers, an assembly of people who emerged from different parties.”
Shanu contended that the PDP remained the most organised party in Nigeria, appealing to the people to stop spreading false rumours.
