The pavilion of Africa’s foremost conglomerate, Dangote Group yesterday turned Mecca as participants thronged to have a glimpse of the several innovative products being displayed.  

Some of the participants who visited the company’s pavilion included top government officials, emirs, investors, academics and several high-profile personalities.  

The company, which is the major sponsor of the 43rd Trade Fair, is being organised by the Kano Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA).  

President and Chief Executive of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, is the grand patron of the KACCIMA.

The Regional Director, Dangote Cement Plc. North West, Mr. Aliyu Da’u Aliyu who represented Dangote, noted that AFCFTA is arguably the future of Africa, adding that DIL will play a significant role in the intra-African market as a pan-African company and global player to maximise the advantages of the Continental Free Trade  

The company’s Group Executive Director, Engr. Mansur Ahmed had told newsmen that Kano is a major gateway to trade in Africa and that the trade fair offers the company yet another opportunity to leverage on its export potential in line with the AfCFTA.  

The Director General of the KACCIMA, Mustapha M. Aliyu commended the Dangote Group for the partnership and sponsorship of the trade fair.
