The ongoing Dangote Cement bag of goodies season 2 promo will help the country cushion the effects of the economic strains of the coronavirus pandemic, cement consumers in northern states have projected.

Chairman of the Association of Abuja Block Producers (AABP), Sir Johnson Aka, expressed optimism that like the previous promos by the Dangote Cement, the new promo will induce more sales, profitability and investments in the cement subsector of the economy.

“With one thousand new millionaires, Nigerian economy will be better off, especially now that the COVID-19 pandemic has depleted economic activities,” he said.

Similarly, chairman of the Abuja Concrete Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Mr. Uzor George Tiga, said: “We are happy by the quality of Dangote Cement brand and the quality of the promo. It would significantly increase our yield, more so that you win instantly without any raffle draw.

A major distributor with Dangote Cement and Chairman/CEO of Phildos Nigeria Limited Johnson Olushola described the new promo as a “welcome development and well-timed given the season and the ravaging pandemic.”

Chairman of the Progressive Block Makers in Tafa, Niger State. Hon. Yau Ahmed described the promo as reliable and credible, adding that the Dangote Cement has built its brand reputation even beyond the shores of Nigeria.

Also, Mallam Umar Bala, the CEO of Zariyawa Blocks in Zaria, Kaduna State commended the company for trying to reach its consumers, adding that there is the need to support them with training, financial empowerment and tools so that modern machines can be deployed in block making business.
