He said: “By this appointment, I deem it necessary to call on all the NPC state coordinators and staff to fight corruption at all levels and that is why I’m charging state coordinators to serve as anti-corruption ambassadors in their respective states.

“This is a serious challenge to expose corruption. We must do the needful by not disappointing this trust bestowed on us.”

On his part, the Chairman of the EFCC, said: “It is necessary to appoint his likes as anti-corruption ambassador. He will use his experience in helping the EFCC in its anti-corruption fight.”

Olukoyede commended Dangundi’s antecedent and track record in the fight against corruption when he was Managing Director of Kano Consumer Protection Council.

“I have seen how you arrested and seized expired drugs and food items during your tenure. It was in the news that we needed people like you so that we could come together to fight this menace called corruption. It is doing more harm to us,” the EFCC boss said.
