Dana Air, one of Nigeria’s leading airlines, has announced two significant initiatives aimed at promoting health and wellness among its staff and customers and that it has concluded plans to hold health talks and screening for members of staff and their regular customers.

The events are scheduled to be held on April 25, 26 and 29 in Lagos, while the Abuja Half Marathon will be held in Abuja on April 20, at the Old Parade Ground, Garki.

Seaking on the two initiatives for staff and customers, the Chief Operating Officer of Dana Air, Ememobong Ettete, said, ‘’These initiatives are part of Dana Air’s broad, far-reaching Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at promoting wellness, disease prevention and active health education among its staff, frequent flyers and Dana Miles Club members.

He said, ‘’In the light of the global prevalence of silent killers and the growing need for proactive health management, Dana Air recognises the importance of empowering individuals with knowledge and resources to safeguard their health through informative health talks and comprehensive screenings.

“Participants will also gain valuable insights into preventive measures and early detection strategies for various health conditions and we are partnering the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) and NILAYO Sports Management Limited to achieve both initiatives.“
