The 34th edition of Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship 2021 begins on Friday 29th, 0ctober.
The Tournament Director Yusuf Datti disclosed this to newsmen in Kano
Datti said that the winners of the championship will cart home N7 million as a prize monies.
He said that winner of the male single event will receive N1 Million, while the runner up in the category will receive N500,000,00.
He added that winner of the ladies single will receive N600,000, the runner up in the category will cart way N300,000,00.
He said that the winner of the men’s doubles will be rewarded with N300, 000, while the runner up will get N150,000.
He added that those players who zoom to the semi final, quarter final and first round losers will be handed consolatory prizes.
He noted that this year’s edition of the championship will slam off with 68 draws for the men’s single event, adding that both the ladies single and men’s double events will start with the draw of 16.
Datti said that the Kano State Deputy Governor Dr, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna is expected to be the guest of honour at the final/closing ceremony of the championship.
