Daily Trust has launched a platform that brings together farmers, agro-investors and enthusiasts based in Nigeria or abroad but own farms at home.

By this launch, Daily Trust is inviting young Nigerian farmers, agriculture enthusiasts, farmers groups, associations and agro-investors to join Trust Plus via its membership portal to enable them to network with others.

The membership will give them access to innovative stories about their occupation.

The Editor-In-Chief of Daily Trust, Malam Naziru Abubakar Mikail, in a statement said: “These are not the best of times for Nigerian farmers. The agric sector is facing unprecedented challenges.

“Daily Trust journalists want to engage with them to better report on these issues they are struggling with and provide a platform for networking, idea sharing and project innovations and thinking that can move the sector forward.

“Trust Plus “is a community of Daily Trust readers passionate about the public interest journalism we do.

“Members have exclusive access to our flagship titles – Youthville+ and Careerville – where they read and share career advancement articles, education stories, special reports, job and internship opportunities and newsletters.

“Our members interact through online and offline events, amongst other benefits.

“The platform will be an opportunity to join thousands of farmers using innovation to grow, share experiences, access vital information that will help stakeholders in the space to network and grow in a sustainable manner.”
