Daily Trust’s Cartoonist, Mustapha Bulama, wins the Diamond Awards For Media Excellence (D.A.M.E) as cartoonist of the year 2018.
Mustapha was presented with the award at an event in Lagos South West Nigeria on Saturday.
The cartoonist emerged winner after a rigorous screening of the entries for the 27th edition of the D.A.M.E. award in the ‘Editorial Cartoon’ category.

The organiser in a letter sent to Mustapha dated November 28, 2018, said Bulama was among three finalists in the category and which he eventually won on Saturday, December 15, 2018 .
