Nollywood actress, Didi Ekanem has advised young women to be financially stable before getting into marriage.

The screen diva, who took to her Instagram story on Thursday to advise young ladies, revealed that married women beg her for money daily.

She wrote “As a young woman with no husband and children, this is the time to set yourself up financially. You have all the energy now to make your own money before these responsibilities. Marriage is not a ticket to financial freedom.

“I know how many married women beg me for money daily. Start a business even if na to sell okro and crayfish, sell it and sell it big. No business wey no dey yield profit. Some marriages come with combined efforts financially… So prepare not to lack on your own part. May God equip you all with strength and wisdom to run that business you have been planning since.”(sic)

Ekanem while sharing the nature of her business said no business is easy adding that there is no shame in a ‘legitimate hustle’.

She said, “I have been up since 4 am with my team preparing food for @dailymeals odot customers. Trust me when I say it is not easy at all… But again, is there any business that is easy? None! Who knew fufu could yield so much profit? But I’m sure a lot of you will be shy to even let people know that you eat fufu talk more about selling it lol… There’s no shame in a legit hustle, let wisdom guide you!
