Sheikh Umar Suleman, the deputy to prominent Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi is dead.
He died on Monday at the age of 76years after a brief illness.

His son, Khadi Mustapha Suleman who confirmed his death to our correspondent said he is being prepared for burial according to Islamic rites.

According to him, “My father, Shiekh Umar Suleman died today (Monday) in the afternoon at his residence in Unguwan Kanawa, Kaduna after a brief illness. He was 76-years-old.
“Until his death, he was the deputy to the renowned Islamic Scholar, Shiekh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, he was a community leader and a teacher.”
Mustapha Suleman said that the late Islamic Scholar is survived by 17 children and many grandchildren.
