The Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Nigeria, Zdeněk Krejčí, has commissioned a block of five classrooms the embassy built at the secondary section of the Federation of Muslim Women Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN) schools in Abuja.
Speaking at the commissioning yesterday in Abuja, Ambassador Krejčí said the Czech Republic as a middle-income country attaches a lot of importance to education, thus the Embassy of Czech Republic will always support any course that projects and promotes education in Nigeria.
“We’re ever ready to support those projects that will project education in Nigeria.
“It is important that we have reliable partners to work with and FOMWAN has clearly shown that they are very reliable. We are always happy when we see that people use funds given for the projects it was meant for. We will continue to support noble projects that will sustain the growth of education in Nigeria,” Krejčí said.
The Amirah (Head) of FOMWAN, FCT Chapter, Hajiya Fatimah Isah Ndako, appreciating the kind gesture of the Czech Republic urged Ambassador Krejčí to help facilitate quick completion of the building to provide more accommodation for the students.
