The Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone B of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has seized 90 parcels of Indian hemp, 135 sacks of expired foreign powdered milk and 31 cartons of unregistered pharmaceutical products worth N229,550,108.
The items are part of the zone’s seizures made between July and August, 2022.

The Comptroller of the zone, Albashir Hamisu, handed over the items to the NDLEA and NAFDAC.
He also said among the seizures made by the unit were 724 bags of foreign rice, 149 kegs of PMS and AGO, 227 cartons of foreign spaghetti and couscous, 191 sacks of foreign second hand clothing and 16 units of used vehicles.
Representatives of NDLEA, and NAFDAC, after taking over the illicit items, appreciated the inter-agency synergy between the customs and other agencies.
