Jibo said in the wake of the #EndSARS protest, the command harnessed the cordial relationship with the host communities at different levels through adequate and robust engagement with the aim of sustaining peace and tranquillity within the nooks and crannies of the border area.

He said the synergy and cooperation with the host communities and other security agencies translated into the seizure of the items.

The controller who expressed shock at the extent to which those he referred to as “economic saboteurs” could go, wondered what they intended to achieve by bringing into the country items that were harmful to humans.
