The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Katsina State Command, has arrested one Saifullahi Lawal with 230 parcels of Indian hemp.
The acting Controller of the NCS in Katsina, Mr Dalha Wada-Chedi, disclosed this on Wednesday while handing over the suspect and the exhibit to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Mr Wada-Chedi, represented by the Deputy Controller (DC), Administration of the command, Baffa Dambam, said the suspect was arrested with the exhibit around Shargalle town on the Daura-Katsina Road in Mashi Local Government Area.
Responding to questions, the suspect admitted it was his third time of conveying such an exhibit from Lagos to Katsina without knowing that it was Indian hemp.
