Customs hands over N100m Indian hemp to NDLEA in Ogun

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Ogun I area command, has handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) cannabis sativa worth N102,848,768 it seized from smugglers in the state.

The NCS controller in charge of the command, Bamidele Makinde, handed over the seized drugs to the NDLEA commander in Ogun, Ishaku Yusuf Kwajafa, on Monday, at the NCS office in Abeokuta, the state capital.

 Responding, the NDLEA boss in the state, Kwajafa, commended the customs for always stopping the influx of drugs into the state.
