Between Tuesday, November 15 and Wednesday, December 7, the Learn Africa Education Development Foundation, will reward students who excelled in the June/July 2016 NECO SSCE, their teachers and the schools that produced them.
The chairman of the foundation, Chief Emeke Iwerebono, said in a statement that the awards would be presented to students, teachers and schools that by the dint of hard work, diligence, commitment and extraordinary achievements have become role models for others.
It said Learn Africa Education Development Foundation will present prizes for the overall best candidates in four selected subjects. New Concept Prize for the Best Grade in Mathematics will be given to Akpeti Loyalty Ayakpo of Delta Careers College, Effurun, (Delta State); New Concept Prize for the Best Grade in English goes to Iremiren Isaiah Izien from Rainbow College, Asese, Moba (Ogun State); Dr Ameyo Stella Adadevoh Prize for the Best Grade in Biology will be given to Enenmoh Ikechukwu Augustine from Marist Comprehensive College, Nteje (Anambra State); while the J.F. Ade-Ajayi Prize for the Best Grade in History will be received by John Felix Temitope from Knoxfield Comprehensive College, Ijoko-Ota (Ogun State).
