A coalition of civil society groups (CSOs) and professional associations have endorsed Hon. Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) for the upcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for Adamawa Central Senatorial seat.
According to the groups, Aishatu’s outstanding performance, unequalled legislative expertise and unrivalled advocacy for the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness of her constituents, Yola North/South/Girei, Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone and Nigerians in general earned her the endorsement.
In a communique signed by Comrade Sani Bature on behalf of others, the groups said, Aishatu has delivered crucial dividends of democracy to her people in the critical areas of health, education, rural infrastructure, agriculture, women and youth empowerment during her tenure in the 7th House of Representatives, 2011 – 2015.”
