In a statement issued in Abuja and signed by its spokesman, Comrade Mustapha Junaidu, CUSH described the attack as “unwarranted and unprovoked,” while praising Ranga’s courage, noting that he walked seven kilometres unescorted the following day, challenging the opposition to confront him directly.
