The acting national chairman of the Kwankwasiyya Nationwide Project, Nurudeen Muhammad Inuwa, has been expelled from the body for alleged betrayal of trust.
At a press briefing, the Project’s Caretaker Chairperson, Hajiya Maryam Gambo Abubakar, said the decision to remove Inuwa was taken after a committee, constituted to look at his activities, indicted him of wrong doings.
Hajiya Abubakar said the body had on August 3, 2017 set up a 7-man committee to look at allegations which bordered on betrayal of trust, disrespect to elders and conspiracy to betray the movement among others.
However, Inuwa described Hajiya Abubakar and her team as dreamers.
In his response to the alleged expulsion, Inuwa, who is Special Adviser to the Plateau State Governor, queried the rationale behind holding the said press briefing in Minna instead of the national headquarters of the movement.
He claimed that the press briefing in question was sponsored by the national leader of the movement because he had cause to disagree with him.
