The Minority Leader, therefore, advised his colleagues and staff of the National Assembly to do same so as to dispel speculations that the House may have been plagued with the virus.
Elumelu had, on March 30, 2020, underwent a similar test with his family in London and announced that the results were all negative.
Speculations were flying around on Tuesday that over 50 members of the House had allegedly tested positive for COVID-19 and were hiding their status.
The House has, however, debunked the rumored infection among its members.
Its spokesperson, Benjamin Kalu, in a statement on Wednesday, stated that the report about 50 members of the House being positive for COVID-19 was baseless and unfounded.
