Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has commissioned a molecular and diagnostic laboratory in Aba area of the state as part of his commitment to the fight against the corona virus pandemic in the state.
Speaking during the commissioning, the governor said the lab would serve as hope and succor in restoring the health of its users.

Commissioner for Health in the state, Dr. Joe Osuji, while expressing his delight, thanked the governor for the feat.
In their separate goodwill messages, Board members of the Abia Development Summit, Professor Sam Erugo and Chief Chris Odinaka Igwe lauded the governor for his support in the completion of the first molecular laboratory in the state.
