Covid-19: BEDC Ekiti donates mechanical hand-washing machine to palace, two institutions

The Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) in Ekiti State has donated a mechanical hand- washing machine to the palace of the Ewi of Ado  Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The BEDC also donated a hand-washing machine to the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, and the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI.)

Presenting the machine to the palace, the Business Manager, Ado Ekiti branch of BEDC, Mr Johnson Adewolu, said the donation was to further complement the palace’s efforts at reducing the spread of the coronavirus disease.

The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, thanked the company for the donation and prayed that God would put an end to the pandemic.

Receiving the machine at the Federal Polytechnic, its Rector, Dr  Dayo Oladebeye, thanked the BEDC for the donation and assured it that the school’s workers and students would deployed it to judicious use.

The Chief Medical Director, FETHI, Professor Kunle Ajayi, who received the machine from the electricity body, also appreciated the gesture.
