Justice Daniel Osiagor sitting at the Federal High Court, Lagos, has ordered the Labour Party and its supporters not to converge on the Lekki toll gate for their ‘#Obidatti23 Forward Ever Rally’ billed to hold on October 1, 2022.
The court did not however stop the supporters from holding the rally in four other venues in Lagos State.

Justice Osiagor directed that the rally procession cannot stop or converge on the Lekki toll gate.
He added that the procession can pass through the toll gate to access Falomo Bridge and the four other venues where the rally plans to meet.
Lekki toll gate became more popular during the October 2020 #EndSARS protest when security agents reportedly opened fire on unarmed protesters.
The toll gate was consequently vandalised by angry youths, leading to its shutdown.
