The Federal High court sitting in Yenogoa, Bayelsa State, has stopped the Nigeria Football Federation from holding its Annual General Assembly slated for today in Lagos.
A court order seen by Daily Trust showed that the suit filed by a board member of Nembe City Football Club, Mr Seigha Obiene had the NFF and its president Amaju Pinnick as respondents.

Other respondents are Shehu Dikko, chairman of the League Management Company; the chairman of the Nigerian National League; Alkali Mohammed, chairman of the Nationwide League and Aisha Falode, chairperson, Nigerian Women Premier League.
The Minister of Youths and Sports Development and the Inspector-General of Police are the third and fourth respondents respectively.
Justice Isa Dashen, in his ruling delivered on December 10, 2021, barred the respondents from holding the meeting due today in Lagos pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.
