A magistrates’ court at the Gyadi-Gyadi area of Kano metropolis has remanded a 45-year-old man, Tasiu Abdullahi Hayin Hago, over illegal possession of 29 Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs).
Hayin Hago was arrested by the police following a report from community members after he was sighted with PVCs last week.
The magistrate, Mustapha Datti Bail, remanded the suspect in a correctional facility and adjourned the case to January 31.
