A magistrate court in Osogbo, Osun State capital Thursday remanded six men, Ogunwole Lukman, Jimoh Saheed, Ogunwola Isiaka, Olawale Sodiq, Lukman Oyeyemi and Muidini Akanji for allegedly having human flesh in their possession.
The Police Prosecutor, ASP John Idoko told the court that the accused persons committed the offence on 20th of September, 2020 at about 10:30am at Dagbolu, Oba Road in Osogbo.

Idoko told the court that the accused persons improperly and indecently interfered with the corpse of one late Salami Adisa with intention to use his remains for money ritual.
The prosecutor stated that the offence committed by the accused persons was contrary to and punishable under Section 516, 430 and 242(1)(b) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 vol.II Laws of Osun State Nigeria, 2002.
The accused persons pleaded not guilty to offence levelled against them and their counsels, Taofeek Ibikunle and Tunbosun Oladipupo sought their bail.
Magistrate Ishola Omisade remanded of the accused persons in Ilesa correctional center and adjourned the case till 30th of September, 2020.
