The prosecutor, Inspector Elijah Adesina, told the court that the defendants committed the offence on February 27, 2021 about 3:30pm at Oke-Ora village, via Ile-Ife.
Adesina told the court that the defendants allegedly unlawfully killed one Segun Awotunde with a gun. He further alleged that they injured Opeyemi Rabiu and Adesoji Yinka when they fired gunshots at them.
He also alleged that the defendants conducted themselves in a manner likely to cause breach of public peace when they invaded and terrorised the people of Oke-Ora.
The pleas of the defendants were not taken.
Magistrate A. A. Adebayo refused to grant the defendants bail but ordered that they be remanded at the Ile-Ife Correctional Centre. He told the prosecutor to duplicate the case file and send to the office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice.
He adjourned the case till March 18 for mention (NAN).
