Court remands 1 for breaking police vehicle’s glass, phone

A Kano State magistrate’s court sitting in Nomansland has remanded a man, Mubarak Umar, for breaking the glass of a police vehicle and a mobile phone while the police were trying to calm down a tension in the Birget area of Kano metropolis.

The suspect and his friends (at large) were charged with conspiracy, possession of arms and committing an offence.

The Magistrate, Ibrahim Mansur Yola, ordered his remand in prison and adjourned the case to January 18.
