An Ota magistrates’ court in Ogun, on Thursday, sentenced an 18-year-old man, Peter Ogunbiyi, to four months’ imprisonment for stealing coolers, window burglary-proof metals and aluminium glass worth N200,000.

Ogunbiyi, whose address was not provided, pleaded guilty to burglary and theft.

In her ruling, Magistrate A. O. Adeyemi sentenced him without the option of a fine.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp. E. O. Adaraloye, told the court that the convict committed the offence on Oct.14 at about 4am at Oloko, Obasanjo area, Ota.

He said the convict broke into the house of Sarah Olayemi and stole window burglary-proof metals, aluminium window glass and coolers worth N200,000.
