A Grade I Area Court in Abuja on Wednesday discharged a 22-year-old security guard, Israel Stephen, accused of stealing six bags of cement.
The Judge, Mr Sulyman Ola, discharged Stephen following an application by the prosecutor, Chinedu Ogada, that the case be struck out due to lack of interest by the complainant, Augustine Sunday.

”Having heard the prosecution’s application to strike out the suit for lack of interest by the complainant; the case is hereby struck out.
“The defendant is also discharged of all criminal charges and the First Information Report (FIR) is hereby withdrawn,” the judge held. (NAN)
